Rhiannon is part of the Trident Swim Team. It is made up of girls from 3 local schools. Here she is getting ready for her first ever swim on the High School team.

Ethan has joined football. They started practicing for 2 weeks, then the school realized they didn't have rules or regulations in place for 5th grade football, only 6th-8th, so they are on hold now until it gets figured out. He looks so CUTE!

Wow I haven't been on here for awhile. A class I am taking wants me to create a blog. Hey! I have one! Time to add to it. A new exciting year has started. Taylor, my 20 yr old lives in Eau Claire. My 2 youngest started school yesterday. Rhiannon is a freshman, and Ethan is in 5th.

IN THE BEGINNING OF DEC. THE NEW BAND TEACHER AT TAYLOR'S SCHOOL DECIDED TO LET THE KIDS TRY JAZZ BAND. HERE IS A SAMPLING OF THEIR 1ST CONCERT THIS PAST TUESDAY.

Ethan LOVES monster trucks! We have 4 or 5 hrs worth on our DVR that he watches all the time. His 2 favoritew trucks (Gravedigger and Maximum Destruction) were going to be in Fargo at Moster Jam so we took the kids. HOLY LOUDNESS!! Ethan LOVED it-just look at the expression on his face in the pics!

Rhiannon is 7 and until this past Saturday still had not lost a tooth. She had what we called "shark teeth". Aboutr 4 mos ago her adult teeth started to come in behind her baby teeth giving her 2 rows of teeth. This is the best pic I could get:

Saturday one of them FINALLY fell out. The dentist says that her tongue will push the adult teeeth forward where they are suppose to be.

Ethan tripped and hit the computer desk and got his first black eye

Taylor didn't get to make it to our Pestel family xmas this year so here are pics of her opening her gifts. She LOVED everything and says "Thank You!"

FIFTHS DISEASE
One of those silly viral infections that once one kid in school has-everyone gets. You don't even realize they have it until you see the rash and by then they are not even contagious anymore.
In case your kid's have never had it here is what it looks like....


The rash doesn't bother her at all. The face rash only lasted 1 day and I did let her skip school that day. The body rash shse got the day after the face so taday is day 5....

RHIANNON'S 7TH BIRTHDAY

Rhiannon turned 7 on Sept 28th. We had a birthday party at Liberty Square with a HUGE bouncy castle/slide and roller skating.
